Gift Aid
There are many ways that you can help Hope, and this section lists some of the most common methods you could use to make a donation and help us to continue seeing our current students and grow our service to meet the vast unmet need. Making a donation is one of the most important ways you can support the work we do at Hope and if you are a UK taxpayer and complete a GiftAidForm.pdf, we will be able to reclaim the basic rate of tax that you have already paid on your donation.
The extra money we reclaim is equal to 28.2% of your gift This means that every £10 you donate an extra £2.82 is added so long as it is made through Gift Aid. Imagine the difference you could make to the children and it doesn’t cost you a thing! If you pay the higher rate of income tax - currently set at 40% - you can also claim tax relief for yourself. You can reclaim 18% of your gross donation, the difference between the standard (22%) and higher (40%) rate of income tax. To claim the relief you will need to enter your net donation in the Gift Aid section of your tax return. A single Gift Aid declaration can cover any number of donations made since April 6 2000, all you need to do is click here, fill in the Gift Aid form (PDF - 93kb) and send it back to us with your donation to:
