Host a fundraiser
Have you got a birthday or anniversary coming up, but don’t want a present? Then why not ask people to donate money to Hope in lieu of giving you a gift. If you choose this option, you may want to include a note with your party invitation, such as: “Please do not send ,me/us a present, I/we would prefer a donation to be sent to The Hope Charity, 228 Walm Lane, London, NW2 3BS”. Our policy is always to thank donors and we would be delighted to send you a certificate letting you know how much was raised in celebration of your special occasion. We also thank individual donors, providing that we have their name and address. Want to make a donation on behalf of someone else? Perhaps to commemorate a special day, the birth of a baby, or in memory of a loved one. We will write to the person you would like to honour, or to their relatives (if appropriate) to recognize the gift made in their name and will send them a certificate to mark the occasion.
