Hope

How you can help

Hope transforms the lives and capabilities of children , who are held back by a variety of cognitive disabilities.

We reach institutions, professionals and parents across the UK through our training programmes.

With your help, we can transform the lives of even more children and their families.

£600,000 is what we need to raise every year to maintain our services

£600,000 is the two thirds of our budget that we need to raise from donations, the rest is provided by parents and Local Education Authorities. £600,000 is what we need to raise, just to keep our services at the same level. But…we have a waiting list. More parents dream of having their children achieve their full potential, more children want to come to the Hope Centre. We need you to help to fund the training and development of additional staff, the running of our Centre and the expansion of our national Programme. Help us to reach the children that need us. Remember, however much time or money you contribute, YOU will be making real difference to our charity, to the children we help and to their families. The Hope Centre hosts a number of events throughout the year aimed at raising funds, you can have a great time and help into the bargain. See our events page for details of upcoming attraction. Raising money for Hope doesn’t just help us and the children we support, it can also provide lots of enjoyment for you, your friends and your family. How about taking part in an event that we have organized?, or if you’ve got ideas of your own and some time to spare why not join our fundraising committee? We get together once a month, with more frequent meetings around a major Hope event. Please telephone 020 8450 1121or email hope@norwood.org.uk  for more information.

Many schools adopt a charity each year to raise money through events like fetes, raffles and bring and buy sales. If your child’s school supports a charity (or even if they don’t), please suggest the take Hope on as their cause next year. For more information on how schools can help Hope, and details of the things people have done for us in the past please telephone
