Sponsor an event
Sponsorship is another great way to help our charity. There are many ways you can become involved, from sponsoring a child for a term or more, to sponsoring a teacher, or even some speech and language or occupational therapy sessions. You could also consider sponsoring an event or supporting someone who is rasing money for us. Many different levels of sponsorship opportunities exist - from funding a brochure or table gifts at one of our gala dinners to donating an auction or a raffle prize. We hold fundraising events throughout the year and you can find out what we have coming up by visiting our events page. We are currently looking for sponsors for our main event in November. We are looking for individuals or companies to provide or sponsor flowers, table gifts, drinks and auction prizes or to advertise in our brochure. There are many other ways you can become involved in this or any or our other events. Although all of the children we help have diverse needs, and will attend our centre for different amounts of time, we have estimated that it costs us £5000 a year to help each child. You could sponsor a child’s education for an entire year for £5000 and make a real difference to their quality of life. Or perhaps you would prefer to support one of our children for a month, a term or a half year? Every month we have people stretching their bodies to the limit to help Hope - whether they are climbing the Pyrenees, running the London Marathon or sitting a bath full of baked beans. In October a team of Hope volunteers will be heading to America for our Grand Canyon Challenge. If you would like to support those people who are raising money for Hope - in the USA, Great Britain or around the world, then please contact gdrew-davis@hope-centre.org.uk who will be able to put you in touch with somebody who is currently seeking sponsorship.
